$2,000 Wardrobe Giveaway – Terms & Conditions
1. The promoter and promotion period
1.1 The $2,000 Wardrobe Giveaway (the "Promotion") is run by Preen ("the Promoter"), trading as Preen, Hello Cyril and Miss Timaru.
1.2 The Promotion is advertised as the Preen $2,000 Wardrobe Giveaway on preen.co.nz, in Preen stores and on Preen channels, and as the Hello Cyril $2,000 Wardrobe Giveaway on hellocyril.co.nz and Hello Cyril channels. It may also be advertised to Timaru locals by Miss Timaru. This is one single Promotion running across all three brands, not separate giveaways.
1.3 The Promotion opens at 6:30am NZDT on Sunday 8 November 2026 and closes at 11:59pm NZDT on Saturday 14 November 2026 (the "Promotion Period"). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not count.
2. Who can enter
2.1 The Promotion is open to residents of New Zealand and Australia aged 18 or over.
2.2 By entering, you agree to these terms and conditions.
3. How to enter
To enter, fill in the giveaway entry form on preen.co.nz or hellocyril.co.nz. This applies to new and existing subscribers. Every entry counts towards the same draw.
- Fill in the giveaway entry form during the Promotion Period: 1 entry
- Buy an item from the Oddly Polite denim range from preen.co.nz, hellocyril.co.nz or in store: 5 bonus entries per item (entrants only)
3.1 Bonus entries are counted per Oddly Polite denim item purchased during the Promotion Period. For example, buying three Oddly Polite denim items earns 15 bonus entries. Other Oddly Polite items and other brands do not earn bonus entries. Bonus entries only apply if you have entered the Promotion (by filling in the entry form) before it closes. Purchasing alone does not enter you into the draw.
3.2 Online purchases must be made with an account or email address so the entry can be matched to you. Guest checkouts count only if a valid email address is provided at checkout.
3.3 In-store purchases count only if the purchase is linked to your loyalty account at the time of sale.
3.4 There is no limit on the number of bonus entries you can earn through purchases.
4. One combined draw across both brands
4.1 This is a single Promotion with a single prize pool. It is not a separate giveaway for each brand.
4.2 All valid entries from preen.co.nz and hellocyril.co.nz, plus bonus entries from online and in-store purchases, are combined into one draw.
4.3 Where the same person has entries through both brands, they are matched by email address and combined under one name. This does not reduce the number of bonus entries earned.
4.4 Entrants from both Preen and Hello Cyril go into the same draw. There is one major prize winner in total, not one per brand. The winner may have entered through either brand.
5. Prizes
- Major prize (1 winner): $2,000 wardrobe voucher, redeemable at any Preen, Hello Cyril or Miss Timaru store or website, plus a personal styling session.
- Runner-up prizes (10 winners): $50 voucher each, redeemable at any Preen, Hello Cyril or Miss Timaru store or website.
5.1 The major prize can be spent across Preen, Hello Cyril and Miss Timaru purchases in any amounts, up to $2,000 in total.
5.2 Vouchers can be spent on any item, including sale items.
5.3 Vouchers expire 6 months from issue, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable.
6. The draw and contacting winners
6.1 Winners are drawn at random from all valid entries on Tuesday 17 November 2026.
6.2 Winners will be contacted by email and/or phone within 3 working days of the draw.
6.3 If a winner does not respond within 7 days of being contacted, the prize is forfeited and another winner is drawn.
6.4 Winners' first names and towns may be announced by email and on Preen and Hello Cyril social media. By accepting a prize, winners agree to this.
6.5 The Promoter's decision on the draw is final.
7. Returns, cancellations and invalid entries
7.1 Bonus entries from an order are removed if that order is cancelled, returned or refunded before the draw date.
7.2 Exchanges do not affect entries, unless an Oddly Polite denim item is swapped for an item outside the Oddly Polite denim range, in which case the 5 bonus entries for that item are removed.
7.3 The Promoter may disqualify entries that are incomplete, made with fake or duplicate email addresses, or made by automated means, or that otherwise do not meet these terms.
8. Privacy and marketing emails
8.1 Personal information collected through the Promotion is handled under the Privacy Act 2020 and the Promoter's privacy policies (www.preen.co.nz/page/privacy-policy.aspx and www.hellocyril.co.nz/page/privacy-policy.aspx).
8.2 Your information is used to run the Promotion and contact winners. Entries from both brands are held by the Promoter and combined for the draw.
8.3 If you fill in the entry form, you will receive marketing emails from the brand you entered through. You will only receive emails from the other brand if you also subscribe to it.
8.4 You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
9. General
9.1 These terms are published on both websites. If the two versions differ, the version at [www.preen.co.nz/page/terms-and-conditions---$2000-wardrobe-giveaway-2026.aspx] applies.
9.2 The Promoter may change, suspend or end the Promotion if something outside its control affects it, such as a website outage, fraud or technical failure. Any change will be posted on our socials and emailed.
9.3 The Promoter is not responsible for entries that are lost, delayed or not recorded because of technical problems.
9.4 To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the Promotion or the use of a prize. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
9.5 This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or run by Instagram, Facebook or Meta.
9.6 These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
